Representing the beautiful Sufi and Rajasthani culture, Ajmer is a popular pilgrim city of Rajasthan. Just 11 km away lies Pushkar, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage centres. With barren hills surrounding it from all sides, Ajmer was founded by Raja Ajay Pal in the 7th century.
